pdftk

PDF Tool.  Great for “rotating” a pdf permanently.  I don’t know how many programs I have run into that generate a landscape PDF in portrait orientation, meaning the image is in the proper place, just the PDF is oriented incorrectly.  Well fear not.

aptitude install pdftk

pdftk arrrgh.pdf cat 1E output aaaaa.pdf

# great for concatenating pdfs too.
# Example, merge 3 pdfs into one.
pdftk 1.pdf 2.pdf 3.pdf output all.pdf
