Howdy folks. This site is my way of contributing back to the Linux/Nix community. Here, find ye ways of utilizing Linux/Nix in various ways. For example, my first post will be about SSH Reverse Tunnels and just how awesome they can be for the remote administrator on a budget.
I will do my best to make this site as usable as possible. One of the things about Linux/Nix is that there are usually N+1 ways to skin the same cat. I tend to be a command-line person. GUI’s are fine, but, not all administrators run X on their servers/workstations, and most especially X for remote administration. Nothing like administering your server using an Android connect-bot in the middle of a busy airport on a low-quality connection. A connection that a GUI would send into the gutter of screen draw. Anyway….
